Do you watch this? if so what do you think to it.? I've never watched it before so I've started from the second series. At first glance it looked like it would be really good, what a disappointment though. The acting by some characters is terrible, the young lad is laughable, and the stupid way his character acts is cringe worthy. It's just too doctor who when I was expecting a serious program. The unbelievable reactions of the characters, daft plots, poor acting, it all adds up to a most disappointing viewing experience. Makes me unhappy I have to pay a full licence fee for a hand full of programs I watch during a year, most of which are watched at my nans and the best they can come up with is a 20yr old running around a shopping precinct after a dangerous killer dinosaur with one dart gun. It's so powerful that it smashes straight through the entrance shutter to the mall, takes 4 darts to knock it out but one punch on the nose to stop it eating them.
In fact i'm no longer disappointed i'm insulted.
AND how the heck did that dinosaur know THAT shutter was the mall entrance to the car park and not one of the dozens of shops.YES, can it read the exit signs!

i do not watch television but you say this program was unbelievalbe there is a dinosaur so it was not going to be believable at all
if you can believe that they exist then why can they not be stopped by one punch...you apply some thought but my thought would be this is not real so anything can happen
i do not watch ghost films or supernatural films because they could be on for hours and then at the last minute say 'all ghosts disappear in a vortex' and you could just say 'oh well' anything happens because there is no logic
I heard War of the Worlds on the radio and this was the same aliens come to earth they kill us all and we are going to be destroyed then at the last minute they just die from tiny germs this is just lazy from the writer i did not want to see the film and waste my time

You've made a good point there. I suppose the whole program is unbelievable from beginning to end. I thing I mean it reminded me of a cartoon, a human punching a great big dinosaur and hurting it. You've reminded me of another film, I think it was independence day, the infect the alliens computers with a virus created on a pc on earth. I still want to know how that would work. either the aliens bought a job lot of computers off pc world with windows xp loaded on, or we somehow miraculously learned what language their pc's use. Anything can happen, but it's even worse when it's unexplained why. I always did like star gate though, I thought that was quite well put together.

havenet seen Independence Day but it sounds silly
how did they get the virus was it emailed to aliens@bigspaceship.mars and they opened the file without checking it or was it on a memory stick 'sorry i have to unplug your USB deathray while i load something'
'oh no can you tell me what the alien for CONTROL-ALT-DELETE is? It has crashed and i have got the blue screen'
stupid and silly films with no logic are a waste of time unless you switch your brain off and dont ask questions
