Hello Atherstone. Purely selfish reasons for joining, to hopefully save petrol. Researching our local War Memorial in Newmarket and came across fact that one Major Charles Harold BEATTY, died of wounds in WWI, is buried in Atherstone Cemetery Old Ground grave 1952. I would dearly like a photograph of his grave marker if a kindly soul in Atherstone could take one and email it to me for my archive. There is another connection with Atherstone, Bert CLOW enlisted in Atherstone, but whether he was a native or just working there with the Beatty family is unknown. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter Tony agooner@bigfoot.com
