I must say that I was very disappointed by the ball game committees decision to let the event be sponsored by a tattoo parlour. The game is attended by and looked up to by children of all ages, so why on earth would you let a tattoo parlour sponsor it. Tattoos are vile things in my opinion, especially on women. God knows why anyone would ruin their body and make themselves look unattractive with the things.
That aside it was a good day, great weather, very little trouble apart from a bit of arguing over the ball after the claxon sounded. I'm surprised the ball was scummed so early, 23 minutes past 4, it seems to get earlier every year. maybe it'll be quarter past next year.

We're already making plans for a new committee and ideas, we're discussing changing the game to one with goals at each end of the town and having it over two days like Ashbourne do.
