4.45pm Procession from Memorial to Stage One (NFU Mutual) led by Chinese Lions, father Christmas and entertainers.
5pm approx Switch on of Lights ceremony
Followed by anker radio, performances of Deaf and hard of hearing signing choir throughout the evening
Market Square Charity stalls, Tombolas etc, performances of The Jaguar Landrover Brass Band on the Market Square, Santas Grotto By the arch in the Fire service mobile Unit, Billy bubbles balloon modeller. Performances of the Samba Band.
Long Street, food vendors, burgers, crepes, donuts, chestnuts, sweets, teas, coffees, hot Punch From Gold and Silver Investments. Helter skelter, New Steel Pans Steel Band, TingTang Theatre Stilt walkers, Stalls selling glow products, toys, cakes, pork pies, shops will have tables outside this year selling their goods.
Fair ground Woolpack Way and council offices Car Park, Station Square Car Park, Ratcliffe Rd Car Park, and Various locations along Long Street.
Memorial Hall, Craft and gift Hall , Teas Coffee and Cakes. Stage Four (Outside).. Pinxton Puppets, TingTang Theatre Stilt walkers, Zumba Demonstrations, Martial Arts demonstrations, Anker Radio
Best dressed window display, best dressed Shop keeper, best dressed stall holder, best dressed member of the public.
Firework Finale 9pm firework Display by Jubilee Fireworks. A grand Firework Display set to music celebrating the years events including the Jubilee and Olympics. The biggest free public firework displays in the midlands.
9.15 go home, shoo, be off with ya so that we can pack away and get home before 2am
