Proof that Atherstones camera system does actually work sometimes and that it's not worth getting involved in fights, you could end up in prison.
Nice to see some decent sentences at last for these types of crimes. It's about time we were able to go out and just enjoy ourselves, not fear getting our faces literally caved in over a pint being spilled. This country is the worst in europe for it's abuse of drink.

"The victim of a brutal attack in Atherstone 'miraculously' escaped death or brain damage after his head was repeatedly kicked and stamped on in a sickening street attack.
Even so, Anthony McEachran's jaw was broken and his face horrifically swollen as a result of the tirade of blows which took place in Station Street following an earlier altercation in the Worx night club and was captured on CCTV.
At Warwick Crown Court his attackers Luke Clark, Matthew Billington and Peter Muir pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Clark (26) of Stratford Avenue, Atherstone, was jailed for six years for his part in the attack, with a consecutive four-month sentence for common assault on Bobbie Rogers, the daughter of Mr McEachran's partner, in the same incident.
Billington (24) of Watling Street, Grendon, and Muir (18) of Royal Meadow Drive, Atherstone, were both sentenced to four years for their parts in the attack.
Prosecutor Michael Garrett, who played the CCTV tape several times to show what each of them did, said it took place outside Bobbie's flat in Station Street, Atherstone, following an earlier incident in the nearby Worx night club.
Clark had knocked a drink out of Bobbie Rogers' glass, and during an argument over that, she headbutted him.
Mr McEachran then became involved in a struggle with Clark, and when Bobbie tried to pull Clark off him she broke his expensive neck chain which fell to the floor.
When things subsided Clark accused them of stealing the chain and the police were called.
Billington's attack was so ferocious he hobbled away after clearly hurting his left foot.
Despite what was clearly shown on the CCTV recording, Clark claimed he had been acting in self-defence and Muir denied being involved, but Billington accepted that what he had done was 'terrible' and that he deserved to go to prison.
Recorder David Jones told them: "What one saw on the video was a completely unprovoked attack.
"It really was an appalling piece of violence.
"I find it absolutely miraculous that the unfortunate victim did not die or at least suffer brain damage as a result.""
