Dan Byles MP says the joint Council and MP Jobs Fair for Greenwoods staff is open to all
North Warwickshire MP Dan Byles has confirmed that the Jobs Fair he is jointly organising with North Warwickshire Borough Council on 30th August at Coleshill Town Hall is open to anyone seeking work, and is not exclusive to former Greenwoods staff.
Dan, who has previously run a number of successful jobs fairs in the constituency, confirmed that he has written to all former Greenwoods employees about the event. However he this week urged anyone seeking work locally to consider coming along. He also reiterated that a previously publicised jobs fair at Coleshill School on the 23rd would not now go ahead, and instead has been combined with the event at the Town Hall on the 30th.
Dan said:
"I am pleased to confirm that the Jobs Fair I am organising jointly with North Warwickshire Borough Council is open to all, not just to former Greenwoods employees. We have a growing number of companies wishing to attend, and there will be lots of real jobs available on the day.
"I have written to every former Greenwoods employee alerting them to the event, and I have contacted a number of companies that used to work with or supply Greenwoods. Some of these companies are interested in offering jobs to former Greenwoods staff and will be there on the day. I know that North Warwickshire Borough Council are also inviting companies and businesses at they deal with to attend the event. With the experience in my office from running two very successful Jobs Fairs in the last two years and with the assistance of the Borough and Town Councils, I am pleased that we have all come together to provide some real, practical help for those seeking work.
"The Jobs Fair will take place in Coleshill Town Hall on Friday 30th August from 10am until 2pm. Anyone interested in attending, and any companies interested in exhibiting, can contact my office on dan.byles.mp@parliament.uk or 024 7631 5233."
