Missed both jags so if any one has pics I can use I'd be most gratefull. Family are a great distraction so it took me ages to get round the show. Yet again a fantastic show, slightly larger than last years, better laid out I thought with cars in church street rather than market street. Three capri's, Icemans, ritchie's and something ressembling one lol I didn't see any cortina's or granada's I must have missed them. All cars from my childhood.
Lots of classic cars, a boatcar, lots of bikes( maybe we should have a bike show) a racing truck, performance cars.
I did try to get more trucks but the owner was away so maybe next year with a bit more planning we'll have three.
Food was provided by masters bakery, they don't just do cakes you know. Ice cream from a vintage ice cream van, drinks from the 5 pubs around the square, with the Market Tavern serving a special real ale Piston Broke.
If any of you were there I missed you, sorry.

The third 'Capri' you refer too was actually a JBA Javelin kit car, based on the Cortina/Capri mechanicals, so technically it is not a Capri per se.
This can be gathered by two methods. The vehicle is registered on a Q plate (vehicle of indeterminate age/value) or speaking to the owner who gets quite upset if it is referred to as just another Capri. It didn't arrive until the last hour of the show, and is only partially completed.
Just thought I'd mention it to clarify a point.

This is it. I didn't realise it was a Q plate to be honest I thought someone had butchered a whole capri, rather than made a kit car from one. I'm really glad you came down to it iceman, I hope you enjoyed it and hope you'll come to the next one.

I've been looking in the gallery at the pics I took again and It's an impresive selection and variety - different countries, cars, bikes, tractor, trucks, racing cars, pick ups, icecream van, fire engines, limoseines, classic, custom, enthusiast clubs, plus stalls, food, real ale, music, and a singer.
All for free.
