Stub that out this minute! Not content with banishing smoking in public places, it now appears that the government's smoking ban could be extended (at some time in the future) to include employees busy with a crafty f*g outside the office. You won't even be able to have one waiting at the bus stop, even though your not in the 'enclosed shelter'.
The government seems intent on banning smoking in all public places, regardless inside and outside.
The up side is that it will eventually reduce the strain on the NHS caused by smokers.

I'm not sure about this one, If they are out in the open air then I don't see what problem it's causing. As for the NHS why don't they channel all of the tax they take on cigarettes into the National Health Service.

I say BAN it, BAN it from EVERYWHERE, it's a evil, smelly, poisonous, cancerous, expensive, drain on the NHS habit that should be STOPPED by banning it, you shouldn't be allowed to buy them, shops shouldn't be allowed to stock them. They should fine you if you are caught smoking.
