Well we had our carnival at last and we only had a few drops of rain. Maybe thanks to all those fingers that were crossed.
The Queens float, Three main floats, a tractor and float on its trailer, a retired fire engine limousine , a somerfield van complete with hoola girls and walkers, A Cheer leaders group, Atherstone Youth Marching Band, and quite a few walkers.
Field attractions included a fair, The fire engine, an active fire engine, Side stalls, tombolas, refreshments, a chance to have a go at paintballing and archery, Entertainers, and arena events which included AYMB doing a static display, a show by the cheer leaders dance troop and singers on the stage.
