Motorists are being warned that they should allow extra time for their journeys as major roadworks are set to be carried out.
The Highways Agency is making people aware of a number of projects that are taking place throughout North Warwickshire that will have an impact on travelling times.
Works are set to begin on Monday and are planned to take place for nearly two weeks at different locations along the A5.
The work that is being carried out is resurfacing and will go on through the night with roads closing down, diversions in place and also traffic lights erected.
The agency will be carrying out the resurfacing work on the A5 between M42 J10 and Grendon Roundabout starting next week.
But all the works are dependant on the weather, which means that it could tale longer if contractors experience bad weather conditions.
Resurfacing work to the A5 eastbound approach to Grendon Roundabout overnight from 9pm on Monday, January 28 to 6am on Tuesday January 29. Four-way traffic lights control will be in operation at the roundabout while the works are in progress.
A5 eastbound carriageway resurfacing work at various locations between M42 J10 and Vicarage Road will take place between 9pm and 6am starting on Tuesday 29 for four nights.
The A5 southbound will be closed when the works are in progress with HGV's diverted along the A444 via M42 J11 to rejoin the A5 at Redgate.
Other vehicles will be diverted via the B5000 at Marlborough Way, Tamworth, through Polesworth to return to the A5 at the B4116 junction at Holly Lane near Atherstone.
Resurfacing work also take place to the A5 westbound carriageway from the westbound exit of the b4116 Holly Lane roundabout near Atherstone to the start of the dual carriageway. Overnight work from 9pm until 6am will start on Monday, February 4 for two night.
Two way traffic lights will be in operation while the works are in progress plus 10mph working during the second night.
The Highways Agency is apologising for any inconvenience that the works cause to motorist during the time period.
