£3,00 from Warwickshire County Council's Well Being Fund will be used to promote Atherstone Booktown to both customers and potential bookshop owners. A new version of the promotional leaflet is planned whilst the cash will also be used for advertising targeted at potential new bookshop owners.
The current bookshop owners are keen to see even more shops open to help reinforce the image of Atherstone as a Booktown.
This is very much about having a range of bookshops to appeal to visitors and local people.
