I feel that this email received from Peter Farrugia is contains relevent information , rather than copy that information out I'm pasting it here in its entirety Good evening all! Attached you will find minutes of the AGM held last month and I thank you all for attending. If there are any points that any of you wish to pick up on please do not hesitate to contact me! You will note that we were tasked with attempting to facilitate a Public Meeting for the purpose of discussing the removal of the Travel Token Scheme and which some of our members appeared unhappy about. I tried on no less than eight attempts by telephone call, email, message passing and even telephone call to his home address to speak with Colin Hayfield. Mr Hayfield did call me back on Monday and after some discussion, has agreed to attend the Public Meeting (at the moment) to be held in the Red Lion on 8th January at 1900hrs. Note: I will be speaking with the Herald and publicising the event and if there appear to be too many people for that venue, will have to arrange for somewhere else and re-notify. Please tell as many people as you can about the public meeting which will be an EOM of the Forum and NOT therefore a regular meeting. Finally, and I must stress this, the Forum and its committee's views on the removal of the Travel Tokens has no bearing on the facilitation of this Public Meeting and must therefore remain neutral in it's standpoint. NWBC and Colin Hayfield no doubt have questions to answer in their/his capacity and to that end we have attracted this meeting at the will of our members (the people of Atherstone). This meeting WILL NOT be anything other than knowledgeable debate and will be held with the decorum of all Forum meetings. Any move away from that will bring the meeting to an abrupt halt. Peter Farrugia (Chairman - Atherstone Town District Forum)
