Has anyone else stopped using it since it changed to BP and stopped giving dividend. Our company runs 6 vehicles all filled up there, all now going to Brobots on the industrial estate instead. BP is dearer, no dividend, Necter points aren't worth a lot, you can't buy Christmas shopping with them and I don't think they're issued for fuel card purchases. The change is very unpopular with co-op customers, everyone was saying it was mistake in the days running up to the changeover. What do you think?

oh dear very negative... sorry but i for one welcome our BP overlords
i do not use the dividend points so losing them does not bother me i do collect nectar points and you are totaly wrong about redeeming them for shopping...madhatter - why not google the nectar website.
i use nectar points for shopping and had 120 pounds saved last year- i nominated sainsburys in nuneaton for my points and go there at christmas for some of my shopping because of this
i buy petrol 3 times a week and use BP near Hinkley so thier takings are now down by one motorist - plus i collected the special offer coop leaflets for 5p off a litre which are valid till 25th
they do give nectar points with fuel cards - at least you added 'i don't think...' before you made another wrong statement also
everyone was saying it was a mistake? who? everyone in atherstone? everyone in the coop carpark? everyone in your street? everyone in your house?
perhaps you will convince this 'everyone' to buy petrol at Brobots instead and i look forward to no queues at BP - at least untill it closes due to lack of business
sorry but your post is all negative and i want to show the positive

BP are more expensive
Doesn't make much difference, they don't take total fuel cards.
BP want a deposit on each fuel card so that's out.
How many points do you get per pound spent and how much is a point worth.
Everybody that I spoke to in the co-op filling station, car park and shop, plus the company and their houses.
Co-op have already helped close two petrol stations in Atherstone, both had longer hours than co-op and therefore were more convenient to local people. co-op is a chain store with dodgy ethics, they own the land that they're trying to build that unwanted eco village on at Leicester. I've lost all respect for the co-op since that. They've signed up with BP who have equally dodgy ethics and sod all the petrol companies the all make millions and charge ludicrous prices. They've signed up with a fuel company that stops them issuing the same points as people get who shop in the attached supermarket. I don;t get them on the fuel, so why bother going to the supermarket to collect them, I'd rather go Morrisons n get cheaper food.
Yes cheaper food at Morrisons, that's positive.
BP don't give Necter points on key fuels do they? If they did, and if co-op took key fuels I'd be happy again.

your bitterness is very obvious and i think you are libellous when you say www.co-operative.coop/aboutus/the co-op is a business that is democratically run by its members and its website states "we are not controlled by shareholders or financial investors solely for the pursuit of profit" also on its About Us page it says "Ethical trading is what we are about" perhaps you can back up your claim and the coop will bow to your proof - but again you have no proof only your opinion and your bitterness the truth is that the coop has switched its forecourt supply from Total to BP and you cannot fill up there anymore if it is as unpopular and as unethical as you say then people will vote by going somewhere else for their fuel - but they won't will they ?

after i posted my reply - i noticed that the Google Ad at the top of the page was for: BP fuel cards for use in the UK at both BP and Total petrol stations - www.bpcards.co.ukperhaps your company could drop Keyfuels and look at joining this scheme ?

If thats so then why is the co-op trying to get an eco village built on land it owns south of Leicester. Who is pushing for that eco village to built on green fields? Yes some is on a brown field site, an airport, but a lot isn't. If they're so ethical what are they doing with an airport anyway, air travel is very environmentally unfriendly apparently. Truth is co-op switched its forecourt supply and bp is more expensive and people don't get dividend any more, they get necter points on fuel only. Necter points aren't worth as much as dividend, dividend worked out at 1% back off shopping that wa something that I did need, not a £5 voucher for a Brewers Fayre meal that I get bogof vouchers for in the press anyway. I can fill up there but it's more expensive plus the card is surcharged. Many people were moaning and I'm sure many businesses that filled up there to get dividend to pay for he tea and coffee will now go for the cheaper petrol elsewhere if there is somewhere. I'm filling up at Brobots on Carlyon road, account applications from Brobots on Carlyon Road Atherstone, North Warwickshire. I haven't been back to ask if trade has dropped off, perhaps you could ask for me? Glad the ad is BP and not a rival web site, makes a change Problem is that it's not down to me, it's the bosses choice and he informs me that BP charge a deposite on each fuel card for the life of the card. Don't know if he's got his wires crossed though but have asked him to check. I won't get dividend anyway. That was why I went there, I get 25 quid in the summer and another 25 quid for christmas. Yet another perk of the job gone. So ye I suppose I am bitter.
