St Mary's Church that run Atherstone's fun day have said that some comittie members have shown a reluctance to continue with the event feeling that it has become stale.
This will come as a suprise to the many people who attend the event, even the ones who do think it has become stale. It's a well attended event and as such could be turned to many things.
Therefore I'm looking for opinions on what opinions on what makes it stale, what could be done with this event, ideas to change it, expand it, ideas for alternative events on other days etc.
Think about other events that you've been to and liked that other towns put on. It doesn't matter how simple or how whacky they are, they may still be worth doing.
