The lights are going up, dickens night will soon be with us, the entertainment has been booked, the fair, the clown, the singers, one man band. Program hereWelcome street lights are also starting to go up, as are other private displays in the town. Christmas food is in the shops, so are the decorations. The snow has been ordered for Christmas day along with the turkey from Bates Butchers. ...I've still not bought a single present yet though, hows your Christmas going so far this year ? |

Let me offset CV9's usual negative comments. Looking forward to Christmas. I'll be starting on my lights this next week and always look forward to it. My little girl is pretty exited as well. Lol some lovely christmas banter to cheer me up, thanks guys.
Should I criticise the towns Christmas lights this year and the cowboys that repaired them, and half put them up. It's expected of me I know , just like the Queen and her speech.
I'm sure they've a phobia about putting any on Woolpack Way Long Street junction. Maybe if they used a platform instead of a ladder they'd be able to do it. They did look comical last year up two ladders. I've got a pic somewhere.
