Looks like Coral is to take over the old twin shop crystal Chinese Restaurant that failed last year. That will mean they have three shop units in total. William hill have two units. This obviously indicates an increase in trade and therefore an increase in gambling. Do you think with the economic climate what it is that this a good idea to be encouraging Gambling. Does anyone know if there were conditions attached to the planning application?
I think its bad enough with the online gambling being forced onto us without an increase in presence on the high street too.

That's great news. The more bigger bookmakers shops the better. let's hope that Ladbrokes, BetFred, ToteSport, Jarvis or Stanleys see the potential of Atherstone and open shops as well.

Thats a good idea, I never thought of it like the book town, We could be Atherstone, book makers town.
