and another argument with Paynes of Hinckley. went there and told them that the van still won't start despite them charging us half hour labour for fault finding and insisting that it is the battery lead that is faulty. Half hour arguing that they couldnt test the electrics with the corroded lead in place... even though I did...they then said that dom had asked them to take the starter out and check for iron fillings and there were non and we'd paid half hour labour for that. i leave. dom gets a phone call saying they hadn't taken it off and couldn't do electrics test because the lead was faulty. so we HAVE paid 37 quid for them to look at a cable and say its corroded !.
not only that, they had the nerve to say that i was shouting and being abusive the other day when their mechanic started swearing and shouting at me.
I leave today and within minutes they phone dom to complain that I've complained in their reception and that if I do it again i'll be banned. so I'm not allowed to complain that they're lying to us being abusive, swearing, and charging us for a job that they haven't done.
I don't care what dom does, but i'm reporting it to trading standards. Time and time again they charge us for guessing whats wrong, charge or for replacing the wrong parts, charge us for not fixing faults.
