I hope this is an appropriate place to ask a question about how to upload a book onto a website, in readable format.
My story is that we would like to know how to upload a book onto our own website when set up. We are reluctant at present to make a website , which is the easy part, but we haven't a scoobie how to upload a book for folks to read. Any help and advise will be greatly appreciated.

Asked my brother, expected him to answer here but he answered me lol. He suggested scanning it and uploading it as a pdf file and putting a link to it on the page. I'm not sure how you wish to display it on your page.

I understand how to scan it page by page, but then I'm not clear on how is the images of the chapters are then turned into a pdf file.

Once I set up the website , a bit like this one proboards, which is easy to manage , I should be able to link it hopefully.

my scanner scans them as pdf's but not sure how they'd all be merged into one file then as it saves each one as an individual pdf
