hi everybody my name is rachell,i found this site via google as i am looking to see how things are since i left there all them years ago when my parents moved to sunny Darwen. if anybody remebers a Mrs Brenda Hosworth or a Mr Russle Hosworth please feel free to pm me as i am looking for possible relatives that lost touch when my parents moved away who are now no longer with us:-( . Anyway i look forward to chatting to you guys and gals and hope to make some new friends along the way  |

How long since you left Atherstone?
Would that be Sunny Darwen under Blackburn in Lancashire or in oz ?
Atherstones changed a lot in the last 10 years. Mostly for the better.

hiya my parents moved to darwen lancashire when i was only 5 years old and although a loverly little town it would be nice to see where i originate from and who knows i may make some friends there or better still find some family i dindnt know i had thankyou for the warm welcome although it took me a while to find the reply button i found it eventualy, dumb blonds and computers dont mix well at all lol ;D |

I would say 'they were mad to move' but I actually know the area quite well Rachell, not so much Darwen but accrington and Rawtenstall and know that it's beautiful up there. I was going to move up there but things didn't work out, so for the time being I'm here. Bet you've got a lovely lancs lass accent. You can use the quick reply but reply gives you more options. We're going to have a revamp soon so hopefully it will be put in a more obvious place. |
