The tax – officially called “under occupancy tax†– means people in social housing who have a spare bedroom will find housing benefit claims reduced by £40 to £80 a month. Anyone in housing association homes or council housing with a spare bedroom will lose 14 per cent of housing benefit, or 25 per cent if they have two spare rooms – despite the lack of one bedroom council homes. The bedroom tax will see 666,000 working-age social tenants losing an average £14 a week. Housing association tenants face losing £16 a week. It is estimated 95,000 people will not be able to afford the changes. This another word for poll tax. They must think we're really stupid not to guess their sneaky game.
They say they need these 3/4 bed houses for single people . Dont they realise that there still wont be enough singlebed houses. So, when they move all these othersingles out of their 2/3 bed homes into single accommodation -all those single people left over and needing homes will be moved into the multiple bedroom houses just vacated by the other singles.
Back where we started.
Where were these muppets schooled?
Wherever it was they were educated beyond their intelligence.

I have no idea where they've gotten their stats from because its one and two bedroom houses that are the most needed. They're just putting strain on the system that isn't needed. They're be better off controlling immigration. Might give us a few more jobs too. We lost our best contracts to foreigners that don't have the required business insurance.

Just wait 'til next April when the Romanian Gypsies come here.
Apparentlythey are applying now in their thousands.. Their own country cant wait to get rid of them. I'm talking about the vagabonds and scurrilous ones with no homes .mainly living in tents and wagons-the scourge of the countrywith their lawlessness and thieving ways.
I saw a documentary about their lives and God help us if they come here, 'cause our Government wont.

This WILL NOT achieve what it is claimed it has been set up to. What it will achieve is pushing thousands of people, couples and families further into poverty. FACT IS that this has very little to do with housing and more to do with cutting benefits. FACT IS that there just isn't the houses available for people to down size FACT IS that people haven't the money to pay for the move even if a property is available.

The reason why they will come in their thousands is because their government have banned horse and wagon abodes, of which there are many thousands, making no, and not intending to make any provisions ie. homes for them. So lock the doors and hang onto your handbags. |
