Town Police Clauses Act, 1847-section 21
North Warwickshire Borough Council hereby give notice that, persuant to the powers conferred by Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, a Road Closure Order shall be made for the purpose of preventing obstruction in the said streets on the said days and the following regulations shall be observed:
1. Warton Carnival, names of streets to be closed on Saturday 8th June 2013 between 12.45 & 14.15 hours: Austrey Road, Maypole Road, Little Warton Road, Orton Road, Barn End Road, Maypole Road and church Road.
2. Water Orton Carnival, names of streets to be closed on Saturday 15th June 2013 between 11.00 and 14.00 hours: Plank Lane, Coleshill Road, New Road, Station Road, Walton Lane and Vicarage Lane.
3. Summer in the Square, Atherstone, names of streets to be closed on Saturday 29th June 2013 between noon and 23.59 hours: Sheepy Road(part) Swangate arch, Market Street and Church Street.
4. Polesworth Carnival, names of streets to be closed on Saturday 6th July 2013 between 11.00 & 15.00 hours. Pooley view, Station Road, Nethersole Street, Coronation Avenue, High Street, Bridge Street, Tamworth and Grendon Road (B5000), St Helena Road, Hollies Road, Park Avenue, Potters Lane, Common Lane , Chaytor Road (Common Lane junction only) and Fairfields Hill.
5. Summer in the Square, atherstone, names of streets to be closed on Saturday 24th august 2013 between noon and 23.59 hours: Sheepy Road(part) Swangate arch, Market Street and Church Street.
6. RBL Annual Service and Parade, Warton, names of streets to be closed on Sunday 1st September 2013 between 1845 & 19.30 hours: Church Road and Austrey Road
7. Classic Car Show, Atherstone, names of streets to be closed on Saturday 15th September(should say Sunday-Admin) 2013 between 08.00 & 17.00 hours: Sheepy Road(part) Swangate arch, Market Street and Church Street.
8. RBL Remembrance Parade, Atherstone, names of streets to be closed on Sunday 10th November 2013 between 09.30 & 10.00 hours: Station Street and Long Street, Also between 10.30 & 12.00 hours, Church Street and Sheepy Road.
9. RBL Remembrance Parade, Coleshill, names of streets to be closed on Sunday 10th November 2013 between 10.30 & 11.00 hours and 12.00 & 12.30 hours: Parkfield Road (Wingfield Road to Coventry Road), Coventry Road ( The Coleseyes to High Street), High Street (Coventry Road to Church Hill) and Church Hill.
10. RBL Remembrance Parade, Warton, names of streets to be closed on Sunday 10th November 2013 between 10.30 & 12.30 hours: Maypole Road (Old school to church Road) and Church Road.
11. RBL Remembrance Parade, Hartshill, names of streets to be closed on Sunday10th November 2013 between 10.00 12.00 hours: Church Road (Hayes Road to Michael Drayton junior school) and Oldbury Road (The Woodlands to Church Road)
12. Dickens Evening, Atherstone, names of streets to be closed on Saturday 30th November 2013 between 10.00 &23.59 hours: Long Street, Station Street, coleshill Street, Sheepy Road, North Street, Ratcliffe Street, Market Street and Church Street. Also between 20.30 & 22.00 hours and additional section of Station Street to Old Watling Street (Cattle Bridge).
13. Atherstone Ball Game, names of streets to be closed on Tuesday 4th March2014 between 13.30 and 17.15 hours: Long Street, Atherstone (Regal Court to Memorial Hall)
