If you caught Channel 5′s The Gadget Show last week, you might have noticed a few familiar locations. As the show is based in Birmingham, you probably recognised Selfridges and the Bullring during a couple of segments, but a particular section sticks out for us: the e-reader comparison. After seeing how the Kindle Paperwhite, the Kobo Aura HD and the NOOK Simple Touch GlowLight compared for bedtime reading in the studio, Rachel and Jason then headed out to see how each e-reader worked in direct sunlight. A film studio light was brought in to help recreate the sunshine of a typical Spanish holiday destination, and to brighten up the rather cloudy British summer day! For that part of the show, they joined us at Heart Park, home of England’s most central beach! You may have visited with the family over the last few years, and we’re now open for schools and groups, as well as offering a wide range of activities for children’s parties. blog.heartofengland.co.uk/1452/the-gadget-show-visits-heart-park/
